WELDERUP KUSTOMS WARRANTY & RETURNS POLICY

WARRANTY

Welderup Kustoms offers a 12 month warranty from the date of purchase on our products. All lights, locks, drawer slides, hinges and other miscellaneous items are covered under the 12 month warranty.

Warranty covers all structural and mechanical aspects of the products.

Warranty does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, negligence or malicious damage. Warranty also does not cover any damage caused by natural disaster or severe weather events.

Whilst we make every effort at Welderup Kustoms to prevent rust we do not offer a warranty for any rust that occurs (including under powdercoat) on our products. We also do not provide warranty on general wear and tear.

Warranty becomes void if the product is used for an unintended purpose or is altered from its original form. Unsatisfactory installation may also void warranty.

Any warranty claim must be reported to us directly via email at shop@welderupkustoms.com.au. Full details of the product fault as well as photographic evidence will be required before warranty is actioned. All return freight costs are liable to the purchaser. If a warranty claim is found to be declined, all costs associated with the warranty claim will become payable by the purchaser. 

POWDERCOATED PRODUCTS

As powdercoating is provided as an option for convenience and is not performed by us, we do not offer a warranty on the powdercoat application or finish.

We would strongly recommend ordering powdercoated products for pickup only. Ordering powdercoated products and having them shipped is at your own risk.

As we are unable to control how your order is handled by third parties during the shipping process, we also take no responsibility should the powdercoated finish be damaged during transit. In most cases with the polyfoam, plastic bubble wrap and plastic wrap used in wrapping powdercoated products for shipping is sufficient and products arrive unscathed, on occasion carriers do mis-handle the packages and some have arrived damaged.

Sendle will not cover any damage to the powdercoated finish sustained during transit. This has been an ongoing battle with them and unfortunately we are unable to keep absorbing the cost of replacing guards that have been damaged in transit.

We are more than happy to package products in cardboard to help prevent damage, this would however make the package too large for Sendle and other similar shipping services to carry. You would need to cover the costs of additional packaging and freight.

RETURNS & REFUNDS

Welderup Kustoms does not accept returns or refunds for change of mind circumstances. If you have ordered the wrong size or finish, please notify us within 7 days of receiving your order so that we can assist you with an exchange.

If the products you have purchased from us are faulty or wrongly described, you may be eligible for a refund, repair or partial reimbursement. Please email us directly via email at shop@welderupkustoms.com.au within 7 days of receiving your item. You must include full details of the product fault as well as photographic evidence.

Upon collection/delivery of goods Welderup Kustoms must be notified within 48 hours of any damage to the item/s. No consideration will be given to any claims reported after this time or without freight insurance.

AMENDMENTS

We may, at any time and at our discretion, vary this Warranty & Returns Policy by publishing the amended policy on our website. We recommend you check our website regularly to ensure you are aware of our current policy.
